REVIEW!! AVON CLEARSKIN PORE PENETRATING BLACK MINERAL MASK!

So I got this mask a while back. Almost been using it since a year and a half. This was said to be a dupe for the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask To Clear Pores. Now both the masks are said to clear out clogged pores by drawing out the impurities and cloggers.

I had tried the Origins one but since that retails at $17 for 50ml, i had to look for an alternate that was economical, because who doesn’t like saving money when you yourself are on allowance? But i had to do my homework! It wasn’t easy to look for something that was even close to the Origins formulation.

Anyway i came across the brand Avon, which wasn’t a very common brand at the time because:
  1. They did not have distributors like other drugstore brands.
  2. It was actually a company created for women who wanted to work from home and they were given a fair share of the earnings as they sold product to their friends and family.

So anyway i found a facebook page that was taking orders for this UK based brand and i ordered a bunch of stuff from the catalogue. While going through the catalogue, I stumbled upon this particular item, and thought of giving it a try! So here’s my review of the Avon Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask!

The mask retails for $6.99 for 75ml, but Avon usually has all sorts of offers on their catalogues so when I bought it I got it on a buy one get one free deal. So that means I got 150ml at $6.99. That means I got 3 times the product I usually get in the Origins one and that too for less than half the price! That’s a pretty sick deal!

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS!!

Honestly, for me this mask has been a Holy Grail product since the first time I used it! Yes it is a bit different than the Origins Mask, but the difference is diminutive. For this little price, the amount you get is totally worth every penny spent! Infact even more!
The first time I used the mask, I could actually see it unclogging my pores as it changed color! Plus my skin felt extremely soft and clean after just one application!
It states on the packaging though to use it 2 to 3 times per week, I did use it as directed for the first few weeks, but as time passed by, I began using it less and less and now I just use it once a week and it does the trick!
My skin has been less prone to breakouts since the day I started using this mask and I’ve probably used up 6 to 7 tubes till date! And the best part is I keep going back for more every time!
I’m simply obsessed with it and would totally recommend this to everyone but especially those who have oily skin🙂

PAKISTAN’S FIRST EVER BEAUTY SUBSCRIPTION BOX!

What’s up all the beautiful ladies? Welcome back to my blog! Sorry I’ve been really busy lately, so it’s just a disclaimer, that I may not be able to post here regularly, but I promise that I’ll try and post something for you people every chance I get! I started hoarding makeup a while ago, and you know what actually helped me out the most to build up my makeup collection? Beauty Subscription Boxes! Now most of you may not know what beauty boxes or beauty subscriptions really are, so let me clear the air out first. Beauty subscriptions are basically a service that you subscribe to monthly, for a minimal amount, and every month you are sent a box full of 4 to 5 beauty products, that retail for way more than you actually pay for them. So being honest it’s a pretty neat deal. I have been in love with the concept, and therefore I tried out each and every subscription box out there, from Boxycharm, to Ipsy, to Birchbox, hell I even tried a Korean Beauty box! The ...

Life Update! I Got Nikkahfied! Detailed Post!!!

Hey Everyone Welcome Back To My Blog!! I know my regular readers are asking me every now and then where have I been in the past couple of weeks, and also why am I so MIA on the blog. Well the reason is stated in the title! I got Nikkahfied on 16th April, 2017, and this is the main reason for me being not active on the blog! So the preps actually started in late January, I wanted a dress that spoke to me, so I wanted to be sure that I am choosing something that I have always imagined myself wearing on my big day. Although I will be having a proper wedding in future, so I wanted to keep it as minimalist as possible, and also chic at the same time. I did not want a total bridal vibe, but simultaneously, I wanted something that made me stand out of the crowd. So I bought an embellished fabric from Rabi Centre, that's located in Bahria Town Phase 7, and I wanted it to be stitched as a floor length Maxi dress. The tailor however did not follow my instructions, and made a floor le...

MAKEUP 101! KNOW YOUR UNDERTONE!

First of I’m really sorry that i haven’t been posting anything the past week. Well that was because of the Eid Holidays, so I thought I’d give myself a break too! But I’m back now and the first thing that I wanted to do was to help you guys out. Now ever since I posted my first blog about  Choosing the right foundation , my inbox has been flooded with requests to write a post about Undertones. People always have difficulty, or at times don’t have the slightest idea about what the term “Undertone” is referring to, let alone what their undertone is. So to start off, what exactly is the Undertone? Well the undertone is the color underneath the surface of your skin. So to describe it as easily and as simply as I can, I would say that the undertone is the shade that is reflected from your skin when you are in broad daylight. WHAT IS AN UNDERTONE? To give you a simple idea, just try this little experiment, wear a white top, tie your hair back, open up a window so that you a...
