HAIR REMOVING MYTHS THAT NEED TO GO!

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to my blog! When we talk about an essential grooming step, like hair removal, there are tons and tons of myths that have been going around since the very beginning of time! Well I’m here to bust those out of our lives! So stick with me if you want to know what the real truth is!

1. SHAVING MAKES MORE HAIR GROW!

This is probably the biggest myth that almost all of us believe in. The fact n the other hand is that it doesn’t! Yes the hair do come out coarser and thicker, but that’s just because they decrease in length. The number of hair grown is not increased or decreased by shaving.

2. IT’S OKAY TO LEAVE A HAIR REMOVING CREAM OR LOTION LONGER THAN THE RECOMMENDED TIME!

Never believe this one! NEVER! If you use hair removing creams or lotions, you may have observed that it darkens the skin over time, the reason for this is that it contains chemicals, which somewhat burn the skin over the passage of time. So if they are put on for longer than the prescribed time, chances are that you may suffer chemical burns!

3. WAXING IS ALWAYS PAINFUL!

Being honest, the first time I went in for a wax, I was terrified beyond limits! I’d heard that it is dreadfully painful, but I gathered my strength and went in. Being honest, I didn’t feel a thing! Seriously! So what I discovered is that it totally varies person to person. Some people have a high threshold for pain so they don’t feel it as much as others do, on the contrary some people have highly sensitive skin, and they undergo a very painful experience every time they go in for a wax.

4. HAIR REMOVING CREAMS ARE THE BEST OPTION IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN!

Again this is probably the only method that doesn’t cause pain, but it is in fact the most dangerous one, especially if you have sensitive skin. The reason is the same, they have chemicals, that may cause skin irritation, or even chemical burns if the skin is too sensitive.

Life Update! I Got Nikkahfied! Detailed Post!!!

Hey Everyone Welcome Back To My Blog!! I know my regular readers are asking me every now and then where have I been in the past couple of weeks, and also why am I so MIA on the blog. Well the reason is stated in the title! I got Nikkahfied on 16th April, 2017, and this is the main reason for me being not active on the blog! So the preps actually started in late January, I wanted a dress that spoke to me, so I wanted to be sure that I am choosing something that I have always imagined myself wearing on my big day. Although I will be having a proper wedding in future, so I wanted to keep it as minimalist as possible, and also chic at the same time. I did not want a total bridal vibe, but simultaneously, I wanted something that made me stand out of the crowd. So I bought an embellished fabric from Rabi Centre, that's located in Bahria Town Phase 7, and I wanted it to be stitched as a floor length Maxi dress. The tailor however did not follow my instructions, and made a floor le...

PAKISTAN’S FIRST EVER BEAUTY SUBSCRIPTION BOX!

What’s up all the beautiful ladies? Welcome back to my blog! Sorry I’ve been really busy lately, so it’s just a disclaimer, that I may not be able to post here regularly, but I promise that I’ll try and post something for you people every chance I get! I started hoarding makeup a while ago, and you know what actually helped me out the most to build up my makeup collection? Beauty Subscription Boxes! Now most of you may not know what beauty boxes or beauty subscriptions really are, so let me clear the air out first. Beauty subscriptions are basically a service that you subscribe to monthly, for a minimal amount, and every month you are sent a box full of 4 to 5 beauty products, that retail for way more than you actually pay for them. So being honest it’s a pretty neat deal. I have been in love with the concept, and therefore I tried out each and every subscription box out there, from Boxycharm, to Ipsy, to Birchbox, hell I even tried a Korean Beauty box! The ...
